I just saw that I got my first stamp from finishing 異人山 by 高雲章 last weekend!

It’s the first time I’m doing an online reading challenge, it’s very motivating :blob_smiley:

A board showing progression for reading books, there are 15 slots with the 5th, 10th and 15th being badges. All the slots are empty except the first one that has a stamp on it (a cow in a bowl full of grapes).

I’m reading 異人山 (不歸之人) by 高雲章, and it’s so great so far (I’m at 25%) :neocat_heart:
The setting is a remote mountain village, and the plot is very intriguing. I also love our two protagonists!

This book is part of the 2026 Readmoo reading challenge, and I just saw that if you’re reading a book from the challenge, it appears on your homepage. (To be honest, I rarely go on this page, but it’s a nice feature!)

Screenshot showing a book cover with a progression bar (at about 25%). Above the cover, a text in Traditional Chinese says “2026 reading challenge”.

There’s a 2026 reading challenge on Readmoo, you have to select 15 books among a selection (it’s actually 5 book in each of 3 categories) and you have the year to read them. You get a badge when you read 5, 10 and 15 books from your list.

I don’t usually do online reading challenges, but I started browsing through the selection, and there were several books in there that I wanted to read anyway, and a lot of other ones that looked great, so and I ended up joining the challenge :blob_smile_happy:
